This is the only law firm that you need for all your Immigration and Human Right’s needs. My wife and I spoke to several firms before making the decision to hire Cromwell Wilkes. We absolutely made the right decision. From the very beginning after accepting the case, Justin totally reassured my wife and I that we were in good hands. The possibility of my wife needing to leave the UK without me was simply devastating. Justin promptly responding to all of our emails quickly, whilst they were preparing the case. We knew that in the first instance that the case would be rejected by the Home Office, due to my wife and I not meeting the required criteria. However, we also knew that having the team at Cromwell Wilkes by our side, that we succeed at appeal due to the uniqueness of our case. Justin continuously reassured us, and we are so very grateful for that. Justin then passed our case to Jessica, who he reported to, as our case was prepared for our appeal. Before I write about how wonderful Jessica was during this whole process, I would like to highlight one point. As we sat in front of the judge alongside Richard (the Partner of the firm), the judge asked Richard who had prepared the Dossier for the case. He responded that it was Jessica. The judge asked Richard to ensure that Jessica knew that this case was SO well prepared and presented. She said that rarely is praise given. In this instance it is important as she was so very impressed by the level of detail, structured and methodical and asked Richard to ensure that Jessica is aware of that. From our first email-video call with Jessica, we knew that she is incredibly competent and a genuinely nice person. That is important in a stressful situation as my wife, and I were in. Like Justin, Jessica always responded to our emails very quickly and thoughtfully, presenting the facts but also in a thoughtful manner. Jessica is absolutely the person that you want on your side in matters like this. Moving onto Richard, who my wife and I met before we entered the Court as he was representing us. First things first, you absolutely want Richard on your side in a Courtroom and NOT against you. Due to the incredible work that both Justin and Jessica had done up to that point, my wife and I were incredibly confident. However, with such serious consequences, there is also that tiny doubt in the back of your mind. On speaking to Richard on the phone whilst we were waiting for him to arrive at the court, Richard totally removed that tiny doubt in my mind. In court there is only one word to describe Richard and that is impressive. He clearly as you would expect knows the law inside and out, but he also has first class communication skills. Judges are indeed human with different personalities and Richard knows how to appeal to each. You immediately feel 100% confident listening to Richard speak in Court, that you will win the case. The judge was clearly impressed with Richard, and we won the appeal. Many of you as my wife and I were, will be feeling incredibly stressed and emotional, in situations of Immigration and Human Rights.
